Fees and Policies | Piano Lessons in Kensington
Lessons are charged at £40 per hour.- Minimum lesson duration is 30 minutes.
- Minimum age requirement is 5 years.
- Lessons can take place either at my home in Kensington, or at your home in London.
- Bookings for lessons must be made in advance.
- For regular time slots, lesson fees are paid at least one month in advance. The full fee for the lessons booked must be paid at the time that the booking is made. Time slots will only be reserved for lessons that have been booked and paid for.
- If you wish, you may book each lesson a week in advance – but please bear in mind that the time slot will not be kept for you before the booking is made and the payment is received, and therefore a regular lesson slot will not be guaranteed.
- If the student wishes to cancel a lesson, the full lesson fee will remain. If at least 48 hours notice is given, then every effort will be made to schedule a make-up lesson in the following two weeks. However, it may not necessarily be possible to accommodate a make-up lesson, and therefore this cannot be guaranteed. If the student cancels a make-up lesson, then another one will not be scheduled.
- Extra time will not be allotted to late arrivals.
- All fees are non-refundable unless the lesson is cancelled by the teacher, and a make-up lesson cannot be scheduled for another time in the following two weeks.
- Students must have a piano at home, or daily access to one for practicing. Digital 88-note keyboards that are touch-sensitive and have weighted action are recommended substitutes.
